The sacral chakra is the second of the seven chakras, located in the lower abdomen, just below the navel. It is associated with the element water, the color orange, and the emotions of creativity, passion, and pleasure. When the sacral chakra is balanced, we feel connected to our emotions, we are creative and expressive, and we enjoy life. When the sacral chakra is blocked, we may feel disconnected from our emotions, we may be afraid to express ourselves, and we may experience difficulty enjoying life.
There are many things that can block the sacral chakra, including:
Trauma, abuse, or neglect
Fear of change or the unknown
Lack of self-love or self-acceptance
Suppressing our emotions
Overindulgence in food, drink, or drugs
There are many things we can do to balance the sacral chakra, including:
Yoga and meditation
Spending time in nature
Expressing our creativity
Dancing
Spending time with loved ones
Eating a healthy diet
Getting enough sleep
Practicing self-love and self-care

Here are some additional tips for balancing the sacral chakra:
Wear orange clothing or jewelry.
Use orange essential oils, such as orange blossom or ylang-ylang.
Meditate on the color orange.
Visualize a healthy, balanced sacral chakra.
Affirmations: "I am creative and expressive." "I am connected to my emotions." "I enjoy life."
