The only home I know is the one in my chest and deep in my soul.
I will never stop filling her up with experiences/memories to take with me to the next life and the life after.
I do my best to laugh daily, cry when I need to release pain, sit when I need rest, sleep when I am tired, work out to stay strong, eat the real stuff, and follow God to my last breath.
This life is simple we all get to live. We carry burdens that are so heavy when all they want is to be seen, felt, and then laid down to rest making room for the new adventurous energies that want to come through.
Most run into more toxicities to try to numb the pain. We sleep with it, smoke it, drink, shop it all away until we lay our heads down and the pain hits right in the heart space.
It longs to be free. It longs to wake up and be set free. Like a caged bird it is tired, weary, starving for attention, desperate for connection.
Let the heart lead the way.. let the mind take a back seat for a while.
The job is pointless if the heart is dead.
